De Vere Horsely Estate, our venue has the capacity for all our guests to stay, both the night before and night of our wedding! Getting to East Horsley for the Wedding! By TrainTrains run from London Waterloo to Horsley Station (35–45 minutes).Horsley Station is a 5-minute uber/taxi ride from most hotels and venues in East Horsley. Traveling to England for the Wedding: We’re so excited to welcome our friends and family traveling from the United States! Below is everything you’ll need to plan a smooth and stress-free trip. Travel &amp; Entry Requirements Passport:Ensure your U.S. passport is valid for the entire duration of your stay. No traditional visa is required for short tourist visits. But you will need an ETA. See below. UK ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization):You need to apply for before coming to the UK, it’s a digital travel authorization. It is recommended doing this well in advance of your flight so there are no surprises at the airport. The cost is £16, it’s valid for two years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first.Be careful to use official sites (GOV.UK or the official UK ETA app) — there are scam sites out there!! Customs &amp; Immigration:You’ll pass through UK Border Control upon arrival. Keep your passport handy and be prepared to share the address of your accommodation. Formal hat or fascinator encouraged. October in Surrey can be cool in the evenings, so we recommend bringing a wrap, shawl, or tailored jacket for comfort. Can I bring my children?We are deeply grateful to our loved ones traveling from near and far to celebrate with us. Due to venue capacity, we kindly request an adult-only celebration, with the exception of babes in arms. How do I get to Stoke D’Abernon?Stoke D’Abernon is located in Surrey, England, about 45 minutes from central London. The nearest train station is Cobham &amp; Stoke D’Abernon, with direct trains from London Waterloo. For those driving, there is ample parking at the venue. How do you pronounce Stoke D’Abernon?It’s pronounced Stoke DAB-uh-nun — the “D’” is very soft, and the last syllable sounds like “nun.” Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?No, the ceremony will be held at St Mary's Church, Stoke D'Abernon and reception will be held at De Vere Horsley Estate. They are about 15-18 minutes from each other. We’ll have some transportation available from the church to the venue. We’ll share all the details closer to the date so you can relax and enjoy the celebration.
